The Sun Inn - Table reservation

Friday at 1 o'clock. a worker must have seen that we approach, opened the door and greeted us. it was warm with a cozy log fire. although a big mosh seemed somehow not overcrowded. had a fabulous carvery roast. they let my nab head try a taste of the bark, as he is tired of hard meat. it was the best tenderest beef we had for a long time, I had pork and it was also beautiful. a good selection of veg and guides, all beautiful and hot as the teller. also the jugendverleihpuddings were perfect. much the best and cheapest carvery I had.

We arrived unbooked yesterday (sunday) 6 of us 12.30.... fully booked till 4pm..however they bent over backwards to fit us in ...we sat up on the barrels had a fab aftnoon, cracking carvey with aĺl the staff havin a laugh n joke with us all... will defffo book the barrels again ! Thanks all ! Iv and gang !

Visited The Sun yesterday and had a lovely experience! Staff were very attentive and friendly. Very Good value for money as huge portion..you won't go hungry! Had a delicious main and pudding, of which you could tell were cooked and made from scratch. Would definitely visit again when in the area :

Visited on the off chance we could get a seat on New Years Eve afternoon on our way to Weymouth. We were very lucky, they accommodated us willingly and we were treated to a home cooked carvery and some gorgeous pudding! Great food, great service! Will definitely visit again!

wow what a great place for the first time for us today we have booked our table that is the best to do very busy place beautiful hot carvery all beautiful and fresh and friendly staff to we very soon again
