We spent night in Sanford night before our early flight and happy found the city center. We were surprised by the active city center and had not made reservations. We put our name in a place and had a waiting time, so we went on and found The Sullivan. We went straight to the table and the waiter said we were going anywhere we want. Shotgun Style Bar, stands on sides and high-top table in the middle. The bar was also on one side. There was a lively crowd and people came through our dinner. We ordered the Vegetable Risotto Cakes and the Corned Beef Sandwich. Risotto cakes were excellent, crispy outside and creamy tasteful inside. Corned Beef Sandwich was the best I ever had! Meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the cabbage / carrots in mustard dressing was the perfect stamp! Served on a house made soda bread, which was also delicious. Friends were light and spiced great. I would recommend The Sullivan to anyone who likes an Irish pub or good food in general! Service was great and prompt, cook delivered meal to table that was a nice touch. The bathrooms were clean and spacious.
Incredible service and staff, they’re like a family behind the counter. : The food and music are amazing!! I love the atmosphere of the place. The inside is beautiful, with dark wooden furniture and an ornamental ceiling. It’s the perfect place to go have drinks with your friends at, though family-friendly enough to take your kids to and have a bite to eat. The Sullivan has got to be my favorite pub in town by far!!
Here in a cool and rainy afternoon. Perfect atmosphere for such a day. Had the opportunity to watch some Premier League football, enjoy a few very beautiful pints, and made it feel like we were back in Ireland. Very nice whisky choice even if you are in what I am. Enjoy a return and enjoy a live music.
Always great service, drinks and food at the Sullivan. I like the shepherd cake very much. Quiet atmosphere on weekdays with the occasionally living Irish musician. Cosy. Of course, great selection of Irish beers and whiskys.
