The Strand Restaurant

Party of 12 couple of weeks ago for a birthday party and I have to say that the service was just exceptional down to the fine detail. I had the steak as you do and it was cooked perfectly and all the sides were very well done. My wife had the lamb and my daughter had the kitchen and all of them commented at how well the food was done. we had the ravioli as entree and the pork belly and the ravioli was magnificent but the the staff were just very switched on just to the small detail. wine and beer list was good with a craft beer selection.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch on a sunny winter Sunday over the Queen's birthday long weekend. Andrew was very helpful with assisting me to navigate the gluten free options on the menu. I was grateful when separate oil and vinegar containers were brought to the table along with warm gluten free bread. Food was delicious.

Winters night couldn't keep us away from The Strand after a hard days work. The restaurant was warm and welcoming on a chilly winters eve.
