We have been in many times before and deiced to pop in to watch the England vs South Africa rugby match and what can i say apart from the food was amazing will defiantly be going back to try the rest of the small plates soon. The staff were lovely and attentive and up for a chat when they weren't too busy. There was one member of the bar staff team I believe he was South African by the way he was cheering) is always happy to help and always makes us laugh. Its so nice to see the staff have a laugh and a joke with the customers. Will defiantly be coming in more often in the future
Tried the Sunday roast and it was absolutely fantastic. The food came perfect and temperature was pin point. The meat was done properly. Complement to the guy with pink hair and he loves Jageabomb! The bar stuff are fantastic and they all were very friendly. We loved the place and it’s like our second home. The manager of the pub is very friendly too. Highly recommended for all. They also have lots of events all over the week like quiz nights, live DJ. Best place in town for a night out. Will be back soon again. My wife loved the gin Rubab and Cranberry with was made by Chanel.
I can 't speak highly enough for this pub. It was ideal for our BH7 Hash running club where we meet up on Monday evenings, follow a set trail and return to the pub for a meal decent beer/ale. The staff at the Station were friendly, helpful obliging. Despite not knowing in advance just how many would be eating a meal on a Monday night the chef promptly provided delicious food for all who ordered it was served by the cheerful girls. The beer was good too as were the prices. Thank you to all at the Station Inn for a great venue.
On my way back from the coast and needing a bite to eat so stopped at the Station Public house in Uckfield. Pleasant surroundings and family friendly I ordered the mixed grill without the salad,it arrived quickly and was cooked to perfection.
