Welcoming pub with tasteful decor.. Staff were attentive and professional. Loved the open fire, much needed on a chilly day. Great choice of food. Something for everyone. Today we had visited lunch, we had the Christmas menu. We had mixed feelings about eating with hits the fish and pork and misses, the apple cake was disappointing, like the butternut cheese and salt cake. the place itself is very beautiful, with a good atmosphere, and the service was good.
