The Salt Grill - Table reservation

The food was delicious, but the portions were small, particularly considering the high prices.The wine list leaves much to be desired. A Brazilian restaurant should have wines from Chile, Argentina as well as Portugal. There is no Sauvignon Blanc or Sancerre on the menu, but two Moscatos and a riesling-no need for three vsweet white wines-and two Italian Pinot Grigios . FIVE Chardonnays from California?? I don’t understand why they only have Italian and California wines. They really need a better wine list considering how expensive it is. The decor is elevated, and the service was friendly and efficient. I would like to go back, but only on special occasions and hoping that the wine list improves.

on Tuesday evening to the 3 curs prix fixe menu for 39. four of us all ordered various appetizers and entrees, and each item was very good. the pao de quiejo cheeses were excellent along with their diving sauce. tahini salat was a winner. we all shared the escapes of the truffle spaghetti, chix breast, salmon and steak and agreed they were wonderfully prepared. cheesecake for dessert was a perfect end. the good bar service as martinis and wee in the glass were very pleasant.

We finally had dinner at The Salt Grill in Glen Cove this evening. I have to say it exceeded our expectation in every way. Excellent service, the food and drinks wede perfection. My new favorite restaurant!!!!

the service was terrible, the waiter had no notice. the half of the menu items they were out of. high prices bad service and so on

We are returning customers and absolutely love food and an overall ambiance.. worth giving a chance to experience something tasty
