The Royal Oak At Burford

We have just been to burford for the weekend the royal oak is a great location brillant breakfast just a shame all local produce used for the breakfast but not the bread or jam when bakery near by and local jams could be used not basic bread also our room had a massive bed really comfortably But the bathroom was old and shower not good shame because doing the bathroom up would really make the room better also spaghetti junction in the corner off the room so many plugs doesn't look very safe But a really nice place just a couple off things that would have made it better Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great value

Very good food! A great welcome and dealt with the children in the party perfect. Would definitely revisit. Photo attached, although now that the damage to the top of the pie was me. We didn’t stay over so can’t comment on hotel

Lovely meal with friends who were visiting the area. Highly recommend the real pies NOT stew with a lid. Had a rather magnificent slow braise beef and peppercorn sauce pie with mash and veggies! Service: 5 Location: 5

Good quality, solid British pub. A good place to have a well deserved break while traveling around Cotswolds. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

Very excellent food. However, waiting for the food is quite long Hotel highlights: Kid-friendly
