I like the aesthetic of this place, but there’s a bar tender in here (bald guy with a cap) who is pretty condescending in his communication. It didn’t involve me directly, but he said some pretty off-putting stuff to my friends. The first time I thought maybe he was just having a bad day, but the second time I came in with a totally different group it became clear that he’s just very impatient and not hospitable with guests. Really kills the vibe. On the plus side, these are the best prices on beer anywhere in town, and I liked everything else about the joint. If you go in when that guys not working I’m sure you’ll have a great experience
I love this place. there's a guy behind the counter that looks exactly like Ted from Bill and Ted's excellent adventure. but he's obviously much cooler and extremely intelligent in conversation. I don't really know the history of this place but I find myself coming back a lot to work from my laptop and have a few drinks while I'm getting things done. The community there seems very tight knit in the camaraderie seems strong. I think I may go back there more regularly. The food is good and these guys can make every drink imaginable. The crowd likes to have fun but is very responsible. Just good vibes.
Don’t go here. Especially if piggly wiggly neon shirt with the cream beanie with the minoxidil bears and the chubbies is working. First timer and my friend and i ordered drinks. we asked for a Manhattan and a gin and tonic but apparently “this isn’t that kind of place.” If you don’t now how to make a manhattan, just say that. Will not be back
This is one of my favorite places in town. I don’t know his name, but that bald guy in the cap always makes my visits memorable. Great food, better drinks, and terrific company. I wish every bar in town had such great service. 10/10!
