The Po'boy Shop Basement

Upstairs is a somewhat unremarkable sandwich shop. Great food, but limited simple seating. Downstairs is a different place. It feels huge. There are pool tables, bars, slot machines and plenty of comfortable cafeteria style seating. The tables are heavy wood with Bars root beer cases holding the tables condiments. The sandwich I ordered was great. The thin flat french fries were tasty. The whole downstairs area feels like you've been transported to New Orleans. The strip of restaurant form a nice little row of intriguing eateries. If I lived anywhere close to this place I'd probably be twice the size I am. I'm sure the other places are great and they were rocking away, however I think The Po'Boy Shop would remain my favorite.

I only ate there once but the muffuletta was outstanding! Bread perfect. I took my dad there after a Dr visit at Emory. And he loved it too. We split one for lunch. The staff was efficient and personable. We ate upstairs for lunch so I don't know about the bar..Food: 5/5

This was delicious! Super laid back. I have food sensitivities, which make new restaurants especially challenging, but Tayna was SO Friendly and Patient, helping me figure out what to eat. And it was DELICIOUS! Thank you, Tayna!

Great food, lots of flavor, great downstairs restaurant with old school games and fun music. I would score higher but they've slipped up on the sides from time to time, usually just cold. The service tends to be good.

Great atmosphere! Fast-service drinks and food are incredible. I purchased the crawfish and shrimp po boy sandwich.Parking: Great parking
