Just had lunch and it was possibly the worst we have ever had anywhere, we had two steak pies, one with mash, one with fries (as they had no chips). The pies, appeared to have been taken from the freezer, microwaved, then put under the grill to crisp the top, the result was a soggy under cooked base with three small pieces of meat one piece of carrot or swede in mine, the wife left all her pie pastry, I left half of mine, you couldn't make, cook and serve a pie that would be worse than these, the tasteless mash, I would suspect was a cheap catering packet mash and a few peas, the fries were ok a little jug of watery gravy, the chef shouldn't be allowed to serve such rubbish. We have tried twice now and won't be trying again, no one came over to see if all was ok and the wife wouldn't let me make a fuss, so we just left. Oh!! the Wainwrights beer was warmish, but ok.
