we visited this little jewel of a place today for lunch, the eating was great, we had only a few delicious toast sandwiches with two cappuccinos, the personal was friendly and out of a certain perseverance they kept the place immaculate as soon as. when a table came empty, it was cleaned and emptied in flash, the toilets were also immaculate, well made to the personal and management, I would use this place again, 100% yes.
eating was very dirty or at least my other half on the other side said she was in order. my food was warm, not hot. there were no table controls to just take pots and cute away, that's it. I'm not coming back soon. in the case of the I can't stop her.
While walking around Lancaster we came across this cafe, staff very friendly and helpful we had hot drinks and I had the cinnamon and apple cake, wow it melted in the mouth, Next time we are in Lancaster we will definitely be back
Just returned to The Old Bell after 18 months due to Covid 19..it's still the best cafe in Lancaster, the food is excellent, the staff are so nice and friendly and its lovely and clean..
