the mermaid hotel is ideally located in the city of yeovil and offers great entertainment with live bands every Saturday night. the sunday roasts have proven to be popular in the run of the years, but I have not yet tried them to stay in the hotel overnight, as I live on site, so never the necessity. the bar staff is friendly and helpful.
decided to go here after work, as was recently closed. it was a good service nice and fast, they will be back from the crawl of the 19th januar so I am happy to try that. had some games of pool. the amount seemed to be a good baptism. I will go back
small selection of real ales, beautiful atmosphere and a (small) pool table. visited for a beer on a hot afternoon and was invited to try the ales before buying. a visit worth a thirsty traveling.
