Went for a family lunch yesterday, we have three children ranging from 9 2. As it was lunch time on a Saturday we did anticipate it being fairly busy, which it was. It's also family friendly so we expected other children to be present and potentially quite noisy. Which it was. We opted to order via the QR codes on the table which took us to the website. I believe you can go to the bar and order in person if that's what you prefer but human interaction isn't my vibe so I'm glad this was an option, and it was easy to navigate and pay. The staff we did interact with were polite and friendly, we noticed my partner was missing a portion of onion rings and our server came back with them very promptly. The food was lovely, portions were generous. Our youngest child had a little kids serving of tomato pasta and it was quite a big portion for £2.99. My only gripe with the food is that my sirloin steak was overcooked, I requested it rare and it arrived pretty much well done. I was pretty hungry so I didn't bother complaining, and it was still tasty enough but it was also served on a blisteringly hot cast iron skillet so I'm wondering if that affected it. My partner also ordered steak and they were cooked perfectly to his liking and served on a proper plate. We both opted to have the beef gravy with our steaks and it was absolutely gorgeous, if you like gravy I highly recommend it. Overall it was a nice meal out, will definitely be visiting again soon. (Toilets were also lovely and clean!
