The Mainhattan - Table reservation

On Monday we had to visit the Bistro The Mainhattan in Mainaschaff in the business area on the bell tower. The main reason was the Christmas gift of our grandson in the form of a voucher for the Mainhattan. After all, it had to be output. Of course, this was not done directly, but on the way back the car was quickly driven into the washing plant, bought our favorite coffee on the frying of our trust. As it is for pensioners, the pharmacy also offered a visit with shopping and last but not least the woman fulfills her desire to visit two boutiques before the meal in which she was actually found. So we entered the Bistro Mainhattan, hunger and thirst. Parking in front of the restaurant is just a few, but nearby there are large pitches for all visitors of the shops, doctors, supermarkets, car dealers etc. and of course also restaurants. The Mainhattan is the successor to the existing Gastro plant in Gastro and since August last year. Anyone who believes that the target group is only younger is probably huge, because during our visit to this day at noon almost all ages from students to pensioners were represented, even with grandchildren. On the tables there were already two menus and a small card for lunch. While we looked in, one of the two accompanying services came to the table and asked for our drinks. Since we were thirsty now and I had already read Jever Pils out of the barrel, the decision was easy for me. Sweetheart asked for juice choir and got the answer that one would have a great choice. And thank God for the scoral without the unripe ice cubes. The food was served with a pleasant and good appetite. The payment request was completed immediately. Our service seemed attentive, friendly, in a way that is perceived as pleasant, without being refreshed. After I could confirm them on request for our satisfaction, she said with a charming smile: then we will see each other again. I want to confirm that. The food (3.5 On the menu are various pasta dishes, vegetarians such as salads or oven potatoes, burgers, steaks, breakfast variations, and on Monday to Friday there is also a discounted weekly table card. I warmed up for the Mainhattan Classic Burger (10,90 €). 180 g juicy Anus beef, covered with Irish Cheddar Chees, crunchy salad, fruity tomatoes, red onion rings, spice cucumbers and Mainhattan sauce. There was a small herbal salad and fries (not on the map). At the Pommes I could also choose from sweet potatoes recommended by the service. You and my wife convinced me to try them. I'm convinced, and I didn't regret it. The burger (photo itself was served on a large plate, so there was enough space to put the individual elements on it. Of course there were knives and forks, but I was inspired by a gentleman sitting on the wall and took the burger in the hand to bite. It went like that without knocking. Anyway, he tasted great. The chopped beef was not only recognizable (about 1.5 cm thick, but also felt good in the mouth. I used the fork only for the herbal salad and the fries. Okay, after that, I had to wash my hands. Sweetheart from the lunch card ordered: Grilled chicken breast fillet with broccoli, peanut sauce and rice (7,90 €). The part saw something lost on the big plate, but it was enough for them. The meat was tender and not fatal, the rice okay, the broccoli bite resistant, the peanut sauce okay, but at our favorite Chinese you taste better. Little anecdote from the side table: a few pensioners known to us with American roots were there for dinner with his 7-year-old grandson. The little one said to the operation on demand how his chicken Wings taste: Prima, it can forget McDonald. The ambience (3.5 As already mentioned, a circular construction. The eye-catcher is the large counter that is matched to the rounding. I guess about 40 seats. In summer you can sit outside. The furniture looks like it's from the predecessor. Maybe you could remove the dust on the radiators under the windows, but who's looking for it? The toilets are in the basement and are clean. Conclusion: The Mainhattan is an alternative for us if we want to go for lunch. But I guess my tribal place won't be. Three to five times a year, I could imagine. Since the bistro is also listed in the Schlemmerblock, I will definitely recommend the Schlemmerblock owners. ANLASS I found the bistro “The Mainhattan” rather random because I wanted to have breakfast with my brother. The online presence [here link] addressed me and some dishes on the menu sounded delicious, so we agreed to breakfast there under the week. LAGE The Mainhattan is located in the industrial area “Glockenturm” on the edge of Mainaschaff near Aschaffenburg. By car it is only a few hundred meters from the B8. It is also not far from the departure of the A3 “Kleinostheim, Mainaschaff”. Rings around the Mainhattan are many shops, supermarkets and two large doctor's houses. In Mainhattan there is a large three-digit digital display. Only later I understood it was coupled to the approval body next door. Pretty brilliant because you can drink a coffee while waiting for his new number plates. EQUIPMENT AND INTRODUCTION There is not much to say. Typical bistro style. The octagonal pavillion-like construction and the almost completely glazed facade are great. So it is very bright and pleasant in the bistro. The table groups are arranged in dark wood and almost exclusively in four-seat groups. But you can put this together if you want to eat there with several people. But I think that the “Mainhattan” is more suitable for a coffee or a breakfast anyway, for a short meeting with 2 3 friends and not necessarily for the company or family celebration. The simple bistro chairs were not really comfortable. The tables are all placed around the large counter. There are some bar stools on the counter itself. I type that about half of the octagonal guest area is, while the other half is needed for kitchen and service. It could be 60 seats. All in all, I would call the equipment unwavering, but rather suitable for a bistro that bears the name “Mainhattan” and not the big table, but the small table for a snack in between. Here and there are some American decorations, that was. Safe: With so much glass is also not much space for decoration. I liked it. SERVICE When we were in The Mainhattan, there was little like the Bistro had just opened. The entire counter operation was provided by a service that has received our orders quickly and friendly without great firmness. Rather inconspicuous, so great in memory. Our breakfast was very fast. It seemed clean. (I didn't use the toilet, so I can't say anything about it. The selection of breakfast was not huge. Many dishes correspond to the name “The Mainhattan” and are made Americans. There are Pankakes, Ham and Egg and maple syrup. I missed a classic breakfast with rolls and jam or something simple for the small handbag. There are some special features you don't get anywhere else. At noon and evening, the choice without question is greater. There are salads, burgers, pasta and even steak. Here are some extracts from the menu: PASTA GARDEN: fruity tomatoes, avocado, spring onion, chili and basil – €9.50 GREEN CHICKEN: chicken breast fillet, salsa verde, broccoli, salad, baked potatoes and herbs Gurke – €10.50 We were delighted with our breakfast. We ordered the Mainhattan breakfast: agitator, bacon, spring onion, tomatoes and a pancake with fresh fruit for €8.90. The presentation of the food was very nice. We were also delighted with taste. Vegetables and fruits tasted fresh, everything was hot and guaranteed freshly prepared. There was nothing to do with pancakes. A great breakfast and a good start to the day. The coffee was also delicious. At the beginning I received the prices a little high, but then our Mainhattan breakfast came to the table, I was reconciled as everything was freshly prepared and the size of the part was also matched. For our two breakfasts with a coffee and a cappuccino we paid a little more than €22. I don't think that was favourable, but given the quality offered as very appropriate. Maybe I can say it like that: From a bistro I would not have expected this price, but also not this quality with real fresh fruits etc., so everything is absolutely fine under the line. The “Mainhattan” is completely flattering, so you should easily come with a wheelchair. I can't judge how far the service deals with incompatibility. The menu also shows suitable dishes for vegetarians or calorie-conscious eaters. I can't judge everything here, but I have nothing to complain about. MEIN FAZIT I actually only expected a simple breakfast, but then was very positively surprised when the food was prepared. The ambience is simple but suitable. Service and price have agreed. The “Mainhattan” is not exceptional, but his money is worth it. In any case, I want to test the burgers again. If they are as good as our breakfast, then I am absolutely satisfied!
