We visited The Logan Rock for a Sunday roast today, enticed by the promise of a delectable meal at a reputable establishment. However, my experience left much to be desired, especially considering the hefty price tag of £21.95 per plate. Let us start with the positives: the quality of the meat was commendable. Tender and flavorful, it was evident that attention had been paid to sourcing good-quality cuts. Unfortunately, this was where the praise ends. The portion size was abysmally inadequate, particularly given the steep price. While the meat was satisfactory, the serving size left much to be desired, leaving me feeling unsatisfied and, frankly, a bit shortchanged. Moving on to the accompaniments, the vegetables were indeed hot and boasted a decent flavour. However, the portion provided was intended for two individuals, yet it was just enough for one person. This lack of generosity further contributed to the sense of disappointment. As for the roast potatoes, they failed to impress. Lacking the crispiness and flavour one would expect from a well-executed roast dinner, they fell short of expectations and added to the overall underwhelming experience. In summary, while The Logan Rock Inn may pride itself on offering a premium dining experience, my recent visit failed to live up to the hype. With a price tag of £21.95, one would rightfully expect a meal that is both satisfying in portion size and exemplary in taste. Regrettably, what was delivered fell far short of this standard.

Staff friendly and efficient. Sunday lunch was expensive and mediocre. Beef and lamb were full of flavour but the roast potatoes had been cooked some time before and although crispy could not be cut with the steak knife provided. The base was rubbery. Cauliflower cheese was reasonable and the cabbage was freshly cooked. The swede on the other hand was watery and lacked flavour. £21.95 each very expensive for what was provided.

We popped into the pub for some lunch after a coastal path walk, and wow, what a treat it was. It was a cold, windy walk and to come into such a warm and friendly atmosphere was lovely. The food was amazing and all in a lovely setting. The fire was roaring, and it was lovely and cosy. We cant wait for a trip back down west to visit the pub again.

An absolute gem of a pub, tucked away in a corner of Cornwall. Lovely staff, a lovely old pub with a great atmosphere and superb food. We had one of their sandwiches which was lovely. Recommended
