The atmosphere and food here are excellent. It has a cosy feel to it and you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. It's on a quiet street away from the main high street so is very relaxed. We had the Sicilian platter for two to start which was a great way to try a bit of everything with a varied mix of dishes. The arancini and pizza bread were delicious. For main course we both had gnocchi, which were very good portion sizes. I usually go for either a tomato or pesto pasta so the Gnocchi Al Pesto Siciliano was the perfect blend of the two. The sauce was thick and rich in flavour. My partner had Gnocchi Gamberetti e Pistacchio which he very much enjoyed as had a subtle pistacchio flavour and a generous portion of prawns. We went for a bottle of Bonacosta Valpolicella to accompany our meal which it complimented perfectly. A subtle initial flavour with a kick of pepper at the end. All of the staff were welcoming and our server asked us at perfect intervals if we were ok, crucially never catching us with a mouthful so we could answer! We will definitely be back here for dinner.
