We reserved a table at 5:30 on a Saturday and as busy at it was there, we were seated immediately. Emily was our server and she was training Pauline. Superb service from them and very attentive even though they were obviously busy.Starting with a plate of calamari was a good choice as it was very tasty and had wonderful fried jalapenos mixed in. The dipping sauce was a very good sweet chilli. The special was a 14oz ribeye cooked to perfection for our friend. My 12oz Baseball ribeye was almost more than I could eat but was a perfectly cooked medium rare.My wife had the tuna tacos which she declared very tasty.With the selection of sides and a good bottle of wine, it was the perfect meal.
Had a reservation for 8 booked for 7 pm. When we arrived, the table was not available as it was very busy and people were staying later. However, James, the Customer Manager, took excellent care of us. He checked in with us every few minutes and brought us drinks and cheese bread. We had to wait over half an hour. He apologized many times. The dinner was excellent and the service was also. The Keg probably doesn't pay him enough and they had better be careful as he will be stolen from them. Thank you so much, James. You were wonderful and we can't thank you enough. Kudos for doing your job in such a professional manner and making us feel important.
Most people don't go to the Keg because they are experimenting. You go to the Keg when you want a good evening with good food. The Keg does very well. On this visit our server, Jordi, set this above the usual. She was personable, knowledgeable and made us feel right at home. Well done Jordi!
If you have kids don't bother unless you have reservations. Told us 40 minutes, still waiting 70 minutes later. Many many people immediately seated in the lounge. Just painful. will rate the food if we ever eat
