We went early evening on a wet Monday. We were after good, traditional pub food and it exceeded our expectations, the fish chips were delicious, crispy batter and the steak ale pie was the best my husband had ever had (and he thought he'd had good before! 100% recommend, service was quick and everyone was very friendly. If only we lived closer.
Asked if they do sandwiches, the sad lady behind the bar,said we stop serving food at 2.30,it was 2.31,how mean was that,your never be rich,
