Always wanted to try Tibetan and Nepali food. Was walking along Queen Street West and came across The Himalayan Kitchen. Small but quaint restaurant and full of diverse patrons. We decided to give the menu a try and we were happy that we did.. Great food ... Ask your server to order the most traditional dishes. You won't be disappointed.
Visited tonight with two other adults and two kids. Everyone liked their food. Quaint set up with friendly staff. My only recommendation would be to discuss how spicy you want things. We didn't mention spice levels and much of the food was a strong medium. But, too good to not eat it anyways!
Last week I tried Himalayan kitchen's new addition "open momos" or they call it "momo Jhol" best one I ever had...service was great, food was excellent..definitely would recommend it to everyone...specially "open momos"..
What can I say about this unpretentious and delicious restaurant? For starters, the food is tasty! From the gyuma and the chole bhature that melts in your mouth.. The chili chicken dry is savoury and delish!
