I ordered from this restaurant for a family dinner. I was suitably impressed.There are some nice Thai restaurants in Castle Hill but this one packed a punch I wasn't expecting.I absolutely love Betel Leaf with Prawns and this restaurant delivered the most delightful array of fresh ingredients to put this little delicacy together and whereas others offer only 2 for a serving The Hill Thai offered 4 per serving.The other dishes were equally as deliciousMasamam curry (beef)Spring rollChicken Fried RiceCinnamon duckChicken skewersBarramundi saladIf you are passing on your way to the Central Coast give this little gem a visit at Thompson's corner, plenty of parking at the back and you will not be disappointed.
Having driven by this restaurant many times (we had to, you literally can't stop, parking is out the back), we finally tried it based on friends recommendations. The signature dishes are amazing, the "run of the mill" Thai selections are just that but did I mention the signature dishes, particularly the 'Banana Flower Salad' and the Betal Leaf Prawns and Betal Leaf Barramundi which are spectacular and well worth dining in for although they are available as take away. Gluten Free: Being Thai most dishes if they aren't already Gluten Free can be made GF and the staff are well trained and happy to discuss.
This restaurant is small and intimate. The only problem I can find relates to the toilets which are quite a ways from the restauant. This inconvenience is minor once you've experienced the food.Read the menu carefully and check out The Hill Thai's Signature Dishes and The Hill Thai Chef's Recommendations. They are absolutely marvelous.I just love the Mango Duck, LA-Tiang Salad (served under an Egg Net!) and The Hill Thai Crispy Pork.Anyway, enough said, it's making me hungry again. Just go and try it.
Wonderful service and staff who treat you like family. We absolutely love this place and have eaten here regularly for years. Every meal is superb and the flavours are amazing - we wouldn't consider eating at any other Thai. Never disappointed!
