"Blue cheese burger with bacon jam - and the fries - both great! Salads were fine - same okay dressing on two different salads - but portions were very healthy. Nice beer selection and fun Friday atmosphere."

Wonderful menu selection. Friendly staff. And the food was marvelous! We had the chicken, which comes with a variety of veggies, all cooked perfectly. The bar side of the place was busy when we arrived, so we opted for the restaurant side of the house. We had to wait a little while for our table, so ordered a drink at the bar. Food took a bit of time before it was delivered, but it was fresh and came to us very hot. It was made for our order, not slapped together in the kitchen.Patrons aged from you're-going-to-get-carded young people to the grey-haired set. It's a very inclusive place. We weren't hurried along at all so they could turn the table.Park on the street.

The Grove is a great neighbourhood bar and restaurant. British Pub style with the food and drink to match. Pretty open and basic design, but the food and staff are awesome. The Stafford burger is quite good and although the menu is styled after British fair, the pizza is quite good as well. 5 stars for a combination of all good things done well: Staff, Service, Food, Good Pints, Good Cocktails and being an unpretentious casual hangout

The Grove strives to approximate the locals that my friends tell me are part of charm of England. Although I have no point of reference, I believe The Grove is very respectful of this tradition. The staff are warm and friendly. The menu is limited but excellent and the beers and cocktails are very good. This is one of the many things I miss now that I don't live in Winnipeg.

This is a great place, You must try the Roasted Pork Belly, Is actually fantastic. Everything that I tried was really flavourful and was just awesome. For pub food, they do a great job and you will be surprised. They have great beers. Small patio but all in all it was a great experience
