The Grafted Root Eatery is a perfect little hidden gem in the Grand Blanc. They have exceptional service from the waitress. The interior of the restaurant is picturesque and cozy. All foods are freshly prepared and several ingredients are secured by Michigan producers. I had the tomato soup today with a garden salad and it was savory and succulent. The soup was not from a can, you could taste fresh tomatoes. Bravo! We also ordered an apple cake that was divine. The crust on the apple cake was by far my favorite. If you want breakfast, I would suggest that you arrive early on the weekend, as the restaurant quickly fills with Grand Blanc locals. There are also games during your waiting and a book club that meets in this facility. It is not the place for children in my opinion. I recommend this restaurant.
My first visit, the ambience of the room is cozy and secret. The service is great and the owner seemed really interested in pleaseing the customers. I ordered the goat and two more cheese sandwich w/bacon with the house salad and coffee with cream/honey. The food was delicious, but I think it's a little expensive. My lunch was $24 before my tip. I appreciate good quality food and expect to pay for a $30 dollar lunch for one being said from the daily routine for me.
We came up on a Friday morning after we heard this place suggested by a friend through Facebook. We ordered Mimosas and breakfast and couldn't be blown away anymore. The mimosas are large and come with their own separate mini bottle of bubbly, the whole food is local source and is cooked for perfection. The portion sizes are hard, and the owner was welcoming and attentive. This will be absolutely a regular place for us!
The grilled chx n cheese is delicious!!! Service was fast and friendly. Prices are a little high, but that’s with everywhere you go these days. I will be back.
