Beautiful location, garden, seating, view, ambience, friendly and welcoming attentive service. Food excellent, super rose wine. Having passed through Gallipot Hill a year ago I had clocked this pub and eventually returned today for a birthday outing to Ashdown Forest. A lovely lunch, thank you....
First visit for five of us to and we all enjoyed the delicious, reasonably priced food, the lovely staff and the beautiful setting even when some welcome rain arrived. Thoroughly recommend the Gallipot, not fussy or pretentious, just good.
What a lovely pub. One of few in the area that serves food on a Monday; we sat on the terrace late into the night and put the world to rights, helped by friendly service, good beer, and lots of Eton Mess for desert!
Some neighbours and I went yesterday and were very impressed. 5 of us were comfortably seated and enjoyed excellent service, beer and food throughout. Pleased to see other customers enjoying the same.
