The Flying Fox - Table reservation

The staff here are lovely. It was really busy when we were there for Sunday lunch but there were lots of staff who were attentive and efficient. The food was mostly very good and the prices reasonable. They have a particularly good gluten free and vegan offering. The only poor point was that I asked if there was a gluten free Sunday roast and was told there was. However it was just the usual lunch without Yorkshire or gravy. It was really dry without gravy. If they had said that is what they would serve it would have been ok. I would have chosen something else. Everyone else's meals were lovely they said.

After a confusion elsewhere over a booking, a quick call to The Flying Fox resulted in an offer to accommodate all four of us (and a baby) on the spot. Really welcoming with a lovely team. Food was delivered to the table quickly and tasted great. The pub has been beautifully refurbished with a great range of food on the menu. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

First thing here, we were welcomed very warmly our waitress was very polite. Food was delicious, taking a star off as my drinks order never arrived Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
