We have the cheese steak. It comes with fries or sweet potatoes. They were made of sweet potato fries, so we got the regular fries. The Cheesesteak had a certain charm. Like your lover, but creepy, stinky, but maybe he's the good smelling uncle who drinks beer on your champagne brunch. The role was quite normal. I think they melted the cheese on the roll. The good news is that the role got a little toast. Meat and roasted onions for your standard fat spoon meat fried onions. The onions spent a long time on the grill. In another setting they would have added a lot of taste to the meat. This cheese steak was mostly out of the house.
Top of the list. The Agriturismo has been my favorite restaurant for years. The crab cakes are the best you can ever eat, and I always try to go with one of the chief specialists. The Pheasent was really amazing that my wife had, and I tried an Elk dish that was really cooked over everything I had expected. A bit expensive for everyone on a tight budget or married to young children, but the food is top notch and worth the extra few dollars. The ambience is amazing, and the whole feeling of the place really makes a special night.
My wife and I had our wedding reception in The Greathouse 20+ years ago. We went back for our anniversary dinner and enjoyed the service, food, and atmosphere. It is as charming today as it ever was. My surf and turf was perfectly prepared. Our waiter was a perfect gentleman. I recommend calling ahead for reservations.
One of my favorite places for 20yrs with high quality food in a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. Menu is limited but everything is well prepared, good drinks and good service. Prices are moderate and competitive.
