We chose to have a mid morning breakfast at The Duchess after a recommendation from someone. It proved to be a good recommendation and from the popularity it is enjoyed by many. Despite being very busy, service was pretty good and the food served was generous and of a high standard.
Fudgy & smothered in thick, buttery icing, sprinkled with coconut, the lamington cake is da bomb! Eaten al fresco on a warm Autumn afternoon on the verandah
We just dropped in for a coffee and quick bite. A lovely atmosphere, and we found the service pleasant. Coffee was also good! Would go again.
This location has so much promise! And the food is so ordinary. We arrived around one and the restaurant was packed with ladies.
