Lovely pub, and friendly staff most of the time, unfortunately during our most recent trip we where told to “shut up” and “f**k off” by a young lady behind the bar. Seems like if you are not a regular (or a middle aged white man) at this pub, you do not get treated with respect by some staff members. This issue was raised with the manager but we where made to feel like our complaint wasn’t taken seriously, and not respected resulting in the manger telling us to leave, and didn’t believe our genuine complaint, refusing to take it up with said member of staff. Such a same as it is a lovely, cute pub, with great beer selection, but seems to be riddled with accent/ race bias and a feeling of “strangers not welcome” unless you are a regular or friend of the manager/ staff, I wouldn’t suggest coming here and you will be made to feel unwelcome.

Nice place, very small. Love the philosophy of the place keeping things local. A few beers to choose from, really enjoyed my milk stout but one of the others in my group didn't like the beer he picked. Can't put my finger on why I didn't love the place, but it was great for a civilized chat and a sensible bedtime.

Amazing place with a fantastic choice of beers sourced locally. This pub has a fantastic atmosphere and welcoming staff that can advise and help you choose the beer you like. It has plenty of space inside and is nicely decorated.

Great pub no music, no WiFi, just very well priced local beer, kept in good condition. Usually a choice of 2 gluten free beers which is fantastic if that's what you're in to
