I really enjoyed my long overdue visit in the crown . beautiful venue with high quality cooking and very friendly and efficient service. my selection of the dishes I had was the salcombe crab .. the best crawling dish I had. as good as I remember, will be happy to come back. keep them the good work.
First and last visit before, sadly, the Crown closes down and the team/family move on to bigger and possibly better things. Wherever they end up their food will be worth bing down, and the exceptional service will round out many wonderful meals
a very special restaurant! first class hospitality from the family chef bonwick and especially spectacular dining. this is a real destination restaurant. if they get the chance, go with the cook selection tasting menu.
