This small sports bar is just that - seating perhaps 40 people. This was a first visit for my husband and me, a quick bite of lunch on a Sunday of running errands. Known for winning Durham's best wings competition many times, we both ordered from their wing menu of about 12 flavours. Both of us got mild, and they come in a paper-lined basket with some carrots and a choice of dip. These babies were hot, meaty, moist and large! One pound is $10.95, and are worth the price. Mild...definitely. May go for the medium next time. We shared an order of battered button mushrooms that were crispy, juicy and much better than what is offered at Wild Wing. WW may have 100 flavours, but we have been very disappointed with their food the past few visits. Now that we know how good the food and service is, the Crooked Uncle will get our business.

Went yesterday for lunch as the reviews were good and the menu had a lot of apps. Was a bit noisy but we got a table at the front without anyone around us. Server was attentive and offered refills on sodas and juice. Apps were ok. We ordered sandwiches and wings and pasta. Wings were standard fare, pulled pork sandwich was too spicy and we like spicy...the pasta was brutal! We guessed that it was reheated and when we asked the waitress she nodded that it was and looked embarrassed. And it was $16!!! What a rip off. We were with extended family and did not want to complain, but really should have. We won't be going back at all. Really disappointed.

Nothing fancy here, just great wings and service. Grab yourself a basket of peanuts from the barrel by the door and just toss the shells on the floor as you wait for your dinner. Our server was there immediately to take our order and we had a cold beer in front of us within minutes. The wings were perfect. Big, juicy and cooked to perfection. We were in town for the evening and I just had a craving for wings and beer. We didn't even know that Wednesday was wing night until we got there. Bonus!

Great Burgers , amazing wings. Good salads too. I have tried many of the wing flavours and have 3or 4 favourites. Good service. Alcohol is reasonably priced. Not fancy but if you love sports , wings and burgers this is the best place to go in Oshawa.
