classic cuban- I'm sorry it was boring and slandered. ham used was not the head of boar. the mojo pot was ok. brot was a little thick and not very pressed, but perfect. there was only one complete lack of substance, there wasn't even sneaking it, and maybe two pickles? it was not even cut into the traditional triangular shape. judgement: bland sandwich needed salt, missing essential senf, was disappointed by how little personality this sandwich had and almost not existent taste at all. don't forget at least the senf and the signature diagonal cut, people. land cuban- this has more taste through the swallow of ranch, BBQ sauce and bacon bits. it's an interesting sandwich in this sight, but overall I just didn't get blown away. I have dipped the garlic butter and if it was there, I didn't taste it at all, just like the scab on the classic cuban- it was certainly missed and would have been welcome taste. here we have a restaurant that specializes exclusively in making a handful of sandwiches and that is it. I expected that the sandwiches have a lot more wow factor, or at least the essential ingredients they should. when I was honest, the lady who answered the phone was not very friendly while I took my order, but was more kind in person. the hole in the wall art of the setting was actually much more beautiful than expected. I would like to taste a little more taste in the end products.
the service was very friendly, the place was clean and it was a whole nice environment. I would go back and recommend friends or family. I had the country Cuban, the one another taking on an original Cuban. it had Ranch/Barbecue sauce and pulled pork. it was delicious; and I usually noticed that everyone ordered the same.
It's always a pleasure stopping in to eat at The Country Cuban. I got the Big Cheese sandwich and with the blend of cheese and the garlic butter it is awesome.
Interesting little country resturant in the middle of nowhere. Popular lunch spot. Closes at 2 p.m on week days. Great pressed Cuban. We spilt one.
