I was there for a fund raising function so not everything is applicable however I will say I was disappointed in the food served. I guess I thought there would be a hot buffet but instead there were just some appetizers. On top of that, there were two things I couldn't identify what I was eating. The first was what I thought was going to be a hamburger slider. But when I bit into it, I had no idea what it was. Definitely NOT a burger. The only thing I could make out was coleslaw. Then I was offered something encased in a pie type pastry, small. I asked the person serving it to me what it was and he said swordfish. There was something thick to dip it into, which I did. There was absolutely NO fish taste to what I was eating. Now I know swordfish isn't exactly a fishy fish, but there was not a trace of fish. And the very spicy dip did not help as it masked whatever I was eating. And $20 for a margarita that wasn't very strong seems crazy, especially for a restaurant of this type and caliber.
So for a cushy, classy, upscale type of place, how do you have broken pinball games in your arcade, your Sam Adams Seasonal is still stuck in summer ale and sub par catering. Bar service took 15 minutes to buy a drink on an obvious down day. Saturday....off season....guess it's not important. I am still surprised how a high class area gets away with this type of stuff. It needs to be mint at all times.The interior is nice and clean. Pool tables looked legit.Will not return.
We came to play bingo. Very unorganized. Dinner was atrocious. Hamburgers that were ordered rare came so well done it was hard to chew. Buns were old. Chicken sandwich was dry and tasteless and also bun was old. My butternut squash salad was fair. Not much salad. Chunks of dried out chicken. Alcoholic Drinks were small and watered down. Will not eat there again. Very disappointed as we like the music during the summer outside. Service also was very slow.
The Clubhouse is 100% a perfect family-friendly restaurant, even more so, arcade, bowling alley, and golf course. The food selection is divine, and kids love it! 100% recomend!
