very windy, but a great view from the outside and within the national treuhandshop/cafés. indoor and outdoor seats, outdoor door mini football, and goal game. outdoor table tennis. bring a fool! ... and something that remains warm. Parking in the parking lot are £3,50 all day. with the national trust membership it is free. it is a 'paybyphone' machine, no cash or card. although they can pay in the load()?
the landscape is exquisite and a national trust site. they can park for £3.50 per day so they can hike all day over the opposite. for disabled people there is also a designated parking space. the way are wheelchair accessible. the gleiter also offer a stunning scenery at the place. the shop and the ice cream are good enough for easy snacks.
this unpublished gem is a real beauty right in front of the door, best time to visit is sunset or sun rise, but the best beaver I have seen is when it is completely frozen with nebel below. love it.
The sunset at Dunstable Downs is worth watching! For Artists, they can sit there and paint peacefully! I do that too. It is also a lovely place to go for a day picnic!
