Something hidden gem a little outside the busy areas of Zuting and Wimbledon, which means that you can usually get a reservation. The outdoor area is large and has a great atmosphere for groups with children and without the whole year. The Brat is the best for (and we tried most). Prices are not cheap but in line with other pubs in the region for a better product in our view. Support local! Stop the good team!
Staff are good. Food so-so, roast beef was ok but nothing special. Although to be fair is priced at about £6-7 less than that in Wimbledon or Balham/Clapham, for example. I'd direct anyone seeking a good Sunday roast in SW London to the Cyclist in Balham, or Jolly Gardeners in Earlsfied.
Friendly staff, easy to book a table for a large family (11). The Sunday roasts were good value and presented well but all were lukewarm when they arrived and the staff started clearing the plates when some of the family were still eating. Wines were good and lovely desserts on offer.
Amazing garden area behind the classic pub. Great food with outdoor kitchen. The garden could be tidy, but was very busy. Practically local to the hose station.
