Been to several Capitol Grills, mostly the one in Naples, FL. Always been great. Figured we couldn't go wrong so went to the Jacksonville location for Easter. Service and drinks were very good; don't know what happened with our dinners? My wife and daughter split a filet, not very good. My Wagyu steak was horrible, very petite and presliced, the taste and texture were off. All of us asked that they not be red inside, and they all came red, so had to send back. I have no problem spending money when worth it, but this was a wasted Also, the lighting is too harsh for an upscale restaurant, need a more intimate atmosphere
We were welcomed snd seated at a very nice booth table. We enjoyed shrimp, French Kanin soup, Caesar snd field green appetizers which were all delicious. Our filet snd salmon entrees were excellent. Adam our server was very helpful with our menu selections and provided extraordinary attentive friendly and professional service which made our dining experience special
Great experience, great food and service. Only problem was a nearby table with loud talkers
