Definitely a hole in the wall/locals kind of place. When traveling I enjoy stopping in little places. Friendly staff. The food was good and generous portions. I got the special of the day which was only $6. It included chips and salsa, three beef tacos, rice, and beans. I really liked that they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner at night. Wide variety on their menu. No kids menu but my two little ones shared three pancakes which were quite tasty! The chicken chimichanga was huge and yummy. Weird little tidbit... they had really good chewy ice! If you like to crunch ice you know what I mean.
Our experience was great with food and staff. We didn't want a chain brand and we found this place. Small and locally owned, we were sold. These ladles, wearing the place like bosses! Great friendly service and fast. I liked our food, special French toast, Eggs, Bak. Enough food for me. My family like the food and coffee was on point, especially bc I hate waiting for a refill. She was there! Great work, we will visit while in town. Thank you.
The staff was very friendly and the food was amazing. We have the Chile Stripburger and the Guacamole chicken sandwich. Both were great, and the perpetrators were. It was so good that we had breakfast there and everything was delicious. If you stop here for the forest, we recommend buying food here. It is a hole in the wall, but probably the best about Holbrook right (except the stoned wood!
Great family run spot for quality home cooking. Breakfast was excellent huevos rancheros with red/green salsa and over medium eggs, refried beans, perfect coffee, friendly service. Don't miss this place if you're looking a great breakfast at an even better price.
