Sorry I have not visited the Bull for some years and sadly I was disappointed by this visit. Food was not great and very expensive. The staff were very attentive and helpful but the price of the food and menu was poor. I can see there is a move away from traditional pub food but the variations of traditional offerings left us disappointed. I have no issue with what we were given in terms of quality but the food was certainly not good value.
Met an old friend here for lunch. We have met here before and once again the meal meal did not disappoint. My friend had a Beefburger, not my thing but she enjoyed it. I had the Fish Pie and this was absolutely delicious, full of fish which you might think is a silly thing to say, but so often I have had other Fish Pies that have been lacking in fish. I would recommend this Pub to my friends and often do.
High and consistent quality of food and service . We had two dogs with us who were treated like customers in their own right . All the staff were were attentive and friendly . The food was locally sourced , of high quality , well cooked delicious . This is our third or fourth visit and the Bull and it's staff have never let us down . I'd thoroughly recommend it .
