Really one of the bizarre experiences I've ever had in a bar. Two of my friends and I went in and sat down at the bar and all in place, moats and workers, saw us very concerned to do this. It was like we were gonna kick her night. The bartender served us ruthlessly domestic light beers after having us sit there for about 10 minutes, although there were only 4 other people in the bar. Then she started screaming at one of the tribes and complaining about something. Then they tried to leave us by blowing Dixie Chicks as loud as possible that 3 men in their 30s would hate it. But her plan fired back because Cowboy Take Me Away is just objectively a great song. Once they realized that the music didn't want us to go, the bartender just cried out of Ok, the bar is closed, please get out. And that was it. I'm pretty sure this happened at least an hour before they close. Looks like a cool little dive bar, but don't waste your time if you're not part of the club, I think.
My friends and I went there on a Friday night after I was in Goodfellas. We are all in our twenties, but the uncensor was extremely annoying and checked all our ID twice. The bartender was very unfriendly and spilled a beer on one of my friends and didn't even apologize. Overall, only terrible customer service and the bar itself was very small.
Great atmosphere and people the great majority of time. There's a bartender who's working with a job problem. (The girl last night 11/19) there is no reason to make people feel stupid and to look at people as if they were held back for simple mistakes. Besides the dirty look and the attitude of a bartender, this place is great.
A charming bar and spot. The last few times I was there, I have witnessed bartenders who were more interested in getting the last word than willing to deal with questions or concerns. Bickering n out w a customer is the opposite of charm.
