****! There's a diet. There's the waist. There's the power of will. After eating at various Bread Basket locations over the years over the Metro Detroit, it is finally my backyard here in Lincoln Park. My stomach will never be the same. I fit this place every day and fear I will be there so often, now I can also apply for a job! Where do I start? The beef is to die for all sandwiches on the menu. I've been there twice and I think it was only open, maybe three days!! I tried the Philly Cheesesteak, and I have to tell you it's right up there with the best I've ever had. When I'm in this place, my eyes become like a child in a candy business. The staff was really nice, despite some problems with the equipment and they went out of the way to make me welcome. You can wager, I will be awarded a few of my monthly incomes to this place regularly. My doctor won't be too happy with me, but my stomach will be safe!
Known for a classic deli sand-which that is hard to beat. The staff is always friendly and really gives that home town deli feel. This place is famous for its corn beef but unlike other places, that seem to get by on hype or social media influencers post, this place is delicious and has been good for decades and will be good for decades more. You’re coming here for quality ingredients and you pay for them. A couple sandwiches, a couple drinks and a side hit $30 but it was worth it. Their menu is huge which is kind of a problem because there’s so much good stuff to try. Certainly worth stopping in...again and again.
Thank you. The best Corned Beef sandwiches round. Corned Beef is juicy and full of taste! Love the 17 1/2 and Rueben Sandwiches. Homemade desserts are the icing on the cake! Well worth the price tag. You can only find a delicacy that fits high quality with huge sandwiches, as the bread basket does.
