The Boxwood Cafe

excellent food and service! since the beginning of the pandemic, all our once favorite foods have been best disappointed if not completely unpleasant. not with the boxwood cafe. it is the only place where eating has remained a consistently high standard. we are always met with a friendly reception and the service is prompt. Moreover, it is the only place that offers a good selection of gluten-free cakes that actually appetit both to look and eat. most places seem to think that those of us who are gluten-free have no desire to eat something off pleasant, and will be happy with something akin to many baked karton. it is advisable to book in advance to avoid disappointment, and if I had a piece of advice to improve an otherwise perfect experience, it would be `please keep it dog free`!

we visited this caffe for the first time today, after having been in oundle’s farmer’s market. I was really, really impressed by the quality of eating and service. some of the best coffee I had in front of location and the baked were looking great! I was very good. note! Many of the tables were reserved for lunch and the website gives a number for phone reservations that it is worth looking at the weekend. a real fund, this caffe! thanks to all the employees who, despite being really busy, managed to be both a welcome and do their jobs well! Five stars!

I'm really impressed! The friendliness of the staff is only exceeded by the quality of the food, good produce served well. Whenever I can I pop in for a coffee and a homemade cake, or something slightly more filling, it's very tempting........

Lovely lunch here today. Friendly and efficient staff and I was given a choice of 3 vegan dishes that weren't on the menu really accommodating. The chips were lovely too !!
