I met a friend here for lunch before visiting the nearby gardens of rousham. we had a nice lunch in this beautiful old pub- service was excellent and eating delicious, with an imaginative menu.
the exchange of frying was a little disappointed with the small amount of meat, the half a very small overboiled huh and 2 thin slices ham between 2. the staff was very friendly and attentive.
The food was both interesting, quirky and brilliantly executed for such a quaint olde worlde pub. Service was friendly and charming. Not many diners but it was a Tuesday night.
