The At The George

a couple of overnight stays in brecon during the exploration of the beacons and waterfall land was fantastic thanks to the staff of the george hotel. the rooms are absolutely beautiful, clean, comfortable and well decorated (I have to admit that I was a bit ground, so was surprised and happy to be wrong about it). directly in the center of brecon you can eat cheap in the hotel or explore the city. the central location makes it a great exit point for all those who wander around the many sights of the brecon beacons. good hotels can sometimes be left off by their employees, but in the george the staff could not do enough to make the visit special. I have always been afraid to sleep somewhere new, but nothing was too much annoyed for the manager to fulfill my needs. I will stay here in future many thanks to the george, they lead the away in the hospitality!

space was clean and tidy, not too crowded at our visit. the food was quickly and hot. I do not wait for the bar. toilets very clean at our visit. a much better experience than the public house that we visited around 6 miles down the canal tattoo on the eve.

the staff really came into the spirit of the jubilee. great to see. helpful and friendly staff also. in contrast to the local weather podons. eating is the eating of the weathering ponons, but the workers who work on this weekend (jubilee) get a high 5!

really nice overnight, the hotel room was immaculately clean and very well equipped with tea, coffee, water bottle and even biscuits. gothic about the very bad breakfast! but would definitely remain.
