Thanh Truc Green Bamboo

This place just cant compare to Thai Basil in Stillwater. This place is just as bad as Duc 's Restaurant. I encourage you to make the extra drive to try real food at Thai Basil, once you do you wont come back here again. Thanh Truc is only 3 min drive from my home. Thai Basil is a 20 minutes down to Stillwater, and 20 minutes back. After giving Thanh truc many, many tries, i No longer go there. That is how different the food quality is. I am not trying to be mean, I don 'twant to hurt the owners feelings, in fact I want them to read this review and make changes. I DO NOT WANT TO DRIVE TO STILLWATER. Your location is unbelievably convenient, please, PLEASE improve your food, I WANT to come back. Go eat atThai basil, pick up the food, and bring it back to your restaurant, have your cooks make your green curry and compare it to Thai Basils green curry, and see for yourself. You are WORLDS apart. Please, I Implore you to improve your foods,restructure your ingredients and chef if you need to. If all your customers had an opportunity to try Thai Basil in Stillwater, you would be out of business. I only supported you because you were close and convenient, even now as I writethis review hungry, I cant bring myself to eat another one of your disappointing meals again. Every time, I tell myself it will be different this time, ill try something different, maybe it was a bad batch, but no longer. Failure afterfailure after failure, you have broken the trust. That 's how bad it is. Read this and CHANGE, be better, I want you to thrive, I want to brag to my friends and family that I live next to the greatest Thai food restaurant in all of the twincities! Please, makes changes. I will personally pick up food from Thai Basil and bring it to your store so we can compare their take out to your fresh food in your kitchen side by side. Let me first say that I am Albert Einstein's cousin and I have lived in Woodbury for a third of a century. My partner and I have been going to this beautiful restaurant for 17 years and the owners and employees know where we will sit, our special seats so to speak. The store is immaculately clean and the food is great. A daughter worked there and made the biggest honey tar and now works in my old campground in Manhattan. We would eat here every day if we could and you can't lose anything from the menu. Yes, generous portions and even an extra thrown. The owner and his wife and even his wife's brother are nice friendly people. I recommend this restaurant and Albert's cousin, take it from me, it's wise to eat there.

I had the chicken with crispy noodles. The woman working, I assume the owner, explained it all so beautifully and you can tell she is proud of her place. Rightfully so! It was delicious and such a big portion it was 3 meals (at least for me: The egg rolls are massive and handmade. The texture is so good. My husband used to come here so he's been before and spoke highly of it. This was my first time and I will definitely return.

This was great Asain food.. very fresh.. very quick. Stopped by on my lunch break for some take out.. couldn't put it down to get back to work. Makes me want to eat there every day.
