This is my second visit to a Temple of Seitan – I really loved the Camden branch and this one was also great! This branch is actually located in a venue called ‘Goods Way’ with a few other food vendors and a cocktail bar all sharing a seating area. The décor is nice, the feel is more upmarket and the staff are friendly. I ordered via the app and went for the ‘Doner Snack Pack’ and ‘Strips and Chips’. It turned out to be waaay too much food, the portions were huge! I felt slightly ridiculous seeing the food served to me (easily enough for 2 people) and I immediately knew I wouldn’t be able to finish it! The ‘Doner Snack Pack’ was huge – loads of chips and absolutely slathered in sauces and grilled doner seitan. It was really delicious and I wolfed it down. On its own I reckon that would’ve been a good sized meal (I was already full after that) but I wasn’t about to let the seitan tenders from the ‘Strips and Chips’ go to waste. Last time I visited Temple of Seitan I got the tenders slathered in BBQ sauce, so I hadn’t actually tried the plain tenders, but I was really impressed. I loved the BBQ ones, but I felt like this time I got more of a sense of what Temple of Seitan’s fried ‘chicken’ is really about. It was a lovely texture and flavour – absolutely delicious! The food at Temple of Seitan is really good and what’s crazy is that despite ordering such an excessive amount for myself it still only came to £11!!

After many positive reviews of Temple of Seitan my expectations were high. The restaurant is located within a building with other restaurants and two seating levels. The seating area is beautiful and filled with plants. After the order I got a summer to inform me when the order was finished. The employee seemed to have a bad day and was not very honest, but I understand that this can happen. I ordered the Burger temple, which was quite disappointing. The vegan bacon was soft and chewing, without a crack. The fillet was thin and tasty. The bread was not very textured and could be better if it was hand-shaped instead of sucking it only in the bread period, what I suspect is what was done. After working with Seitan in a restaurant in the past, I know that it can taste much better. I had expected the ranch to balance the burger, but it was oversalted. Overall, the burger felt confused and lacked care. While my food came out quickly and the price is relatively good, I wouldn't come back.

After an unsuccessful search for another café we came here for lunch. I have a snack box with chips and chicken. I've got something hard to do. The sauce that came with him was not to my taste, so I was glad that I got the engraving, although it was very thin. I thought the chicken was amazing. We also had a lot of biscoff. There was a generous amount of whipped cream, but I couldn't taste the biscoff very much.

Changing the game with the vegan chicken is incredible. They used to do loaded pommes with another topping to what they currently do, so a bit down, but the food is still incredible.
