The Schleusenhotel is a small hotel on the main street of Brunsbüttel, which is rather inconspicuous from the outside. The harbour area and the locks are easily reached during a small walk.The fact that the furnishing did not correspond to our personal taste does not lead us defenitively to the point withdrawal because our rooms (we were there on 2 different days. were extremely well maintained and clean. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are nicely large. A special highlight is buffet breakfast, which can be measured with significantly more expensive hotels.Even the staff are very friendly so that we felt very comfortable at both nights.
We had a very large room. Breakfast was very good, very friendly staff. We had a good place for the wheels. The location of the hotel is fantastic.
