We are here twice, the Food was very good as was the wine. Good location overlooking the harbour and within easy reach of the town. Our first meal there was good enough to make us go back but the service on our second night was fantastic, the best we'd had in two weeks of touring Europe. I'm not sure if Brexit has had an effect in our European neighbours but we ate out every day twice a day and the Pirate was the only place we felt really welcome, add in great food and its a winner . The Fish casserole was excellent and not expensive, it's my recommendation .
Appalling food and pretty dire service. The server who took my second plate of food back told me this was how fish is cooked in Dieppe... I've been eating here for 30 years and it's the worst experience I've ever had. Don't go.

Helpful in translating the menu to English and describing the meals. Had the set meals for approx 15 euros which was plentiful with lots of choice. Lovely location next to the harbour. Would recommend.
