Gets better and better every time we go. Food was excellent and drinks were awesome. Our server was sweet and attentive. We noticed it wasn't as loud in there as it had been in the past. Our server told us that was always a major complaint so they put a rug like material on the wall which worked like a charm. It's nice to see they take their customers input into consideration. This establishment is a definate assett our little community. :
Went last night for the first time it certainly won’t be the last! Loved everything about this hidden GEM. I had the most AMAZING gnocchi appetizer. Next time I see it on the special menu I will ask for 2 make it a meal. Our server, Chris P., was very friendly and attentive to all our dining needs. Will ask to sit in his section next time FOR SURE. Excellent experience-will be checking out the music too!
From the food to the service to the price It has never disappointed...there are always new menu items as well as a large selection of local craft beers... some of our favorites are the Tavern 5 burger, goat cheese salad,salmon,and top it off with almond joy ice cream!! I highly recommend it.. There aren 't enough family owned and operated places to go anymore... for these reasons its our new go to spot
We drive all the way from Berkeley Heights to eat at Tavern 5. The atmosphere is awesome, the food is awesome, and the staff is awesome. Whether you're going for dinner, a drink, or to listen to some music you won't be disappointed in this family friendly place.
