This place has so much potential. Unfortunately, our first experience was absolutely terrible. It took 15 minutes to put in our first drink order. 30 minutes to get the drink. 1 hour to get the food we ordered but it had to be put in to go boxes because at this point, we were late for our plans afterwards. Being hungry, thirsty, and cranky at this stage, it only amplified the fact that we were so disappointed by the experience. My husband and I were really looking forward to this night and I'm so bummed.
Great atmosphere from the decor to the staff. The food was absolutely amazing. Heirloom tomato caprese was simple yet delicious. Just the right ratio of tomato to mozzarella and the balsamic glaze was just the right balance of acid and sweet. Ended up for dinner having the Brisket sandwich with brussel sprouts and bacon and this was just over the top. The bread was perfectly toasted and warm, the waygu beef just melted in your mouth. I would definitely recommend the crabcakes as well.
This place does not disappoint if you're looking for a local speakeasy in Loudoun County (it's probably the only speakeasy in this area lol).The food, cocktails and vibes encompasses all that a speakeasy is. Everything was delicious. Food was flavorful and cooked perfectly. Drinks were very good too. Great quick, getaway date night with my husband. It's also a great place to go with friends, as they have a small area with couches if you wanted to just have a few drinks andhang out.
This is a must if you like fun eclectic places. It's set up like a Speakeasy with a secret entrance. It's like you are walking into a small pastry shop which makes you think you are at the wrong place at first but you are not. Be patient, be cool and they let you into the bar area. The appetizers are phenomenal and they have live music.
