I came here to leave a review and realized I left one after the last, and only other time, I was here. I want to make two things clear: one, I never give bad reviews for Mexican places. Two, I never give bad reviews for Ypsilanti places. The fact that I felt the need to leave a bad review twice for this place is really saying something. I am shocked it has four stars. The people calling it authentic leave me speechless. I got sucked in by sign outside which said taco Tuesday, $4.99 for four tacos. I thought I 'd check it out and give it another chance. The woman brought me a thing of salsa for me to look at because she didn 't give me any chips. This was a step up from last time when they were completely out of salsa. I wish they were out again because the salsa tasted like ketchup and was really spicy. I love spicy but it was probably too hot for a lot of people. Chips were good! As I was waiting for my food another customer inquired about how she was supposed to get rice and beans with her tacos. The server said no that 's not the deal. The woman pulled up an ad on her phone and nicely said just so you know this is online showing the server that the la fiesta advertisement said four tacos and rice and beans. The server laughed it off, blamed it on her son and didn 't honor it. Pathetic. I can 't imagine any restaurant seeing their own ad and not honoring it. This got even better when my tacos came out. These were the puniest tacos ever, with the smallest serving of rice and beans I have ever received at a Mexican restaurant. Best part is, I didn 't ask for rice and beans. No problem. She charged me anyways. This hurts my soul. I 'm really bummed to say this, but I will never go back here ever again unless it 's to show someone else the lousy service and food so they actually believe me. This is the worst Mexican restaurant in Ypsilanti by far. And yes, I 'm counting taco bell. Say adios to this place and go to any other Mexican restaurant in town and you 'll really find out what authentic is. Saludos.

The food is so good! My partner and I ate here today and were highly impressed. The owner was such a warm and kind woman. I got the bean tamales and my partner got the pork ones. Both were very good and super filling. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food. The chips looked to be store bought but were still good. The salsa was definitely homemade and was some of the best I've had. The horchata was also excellent. The only issue is that some food was out of stock. I was going to get the chicken tamales but she was out for the day. However, the bean ones she served me were still excellent. The food and the service were all around great! :

Went with my family for some dinner. The service was slow and the food came out missing stuff. When we finally got what we asked for the food was mediocre at best. Saw the staff not doing there job while we were missing food, took us a long time to get their attention as they were talking in a group near the entrance.

Very tasty! We came to go to another place to eat but it was closed. I'm so glad we came here! Our server was very kind and helpful of the menu. The food was delicious and came out quickly. We will for sure come back! I got flautas and my boyfriend got a big stuffed burrito. He ate the entire thing.
