Let me start by saying our server was great and our food was cooked perfectly and very fresh. My only criticism is about the hostess who seated us and the restaurant’s safety issues. I had made a reservation for my family on the outdoor patio. When we checked in with the hostess she said that the only table available was one right next to the musician who was playing guitar and singing on the patio. The music was so loud at the hostess stand that the hostess had to lean very close to my face so I could hear what she was saying, even though we had masks on this made me very uncomfortable because if she was infected no mask was going to stop the spread of the virus as her lips were about an inch from my face. As we were taken to our table we passed two other tables with seats on our way that were further from the musician, so I asked if we could have one of those tables, and she responded that they were for people who made a reservation, I replied that we also had made a reservation, so then she replied that those tables were for parties of and we were only a party of As we sat at a table not being able to talk to each other the during entire dinner because the music was so incredibly loud, we saw the parties of only TWO that were seated at those tables that the hostess said we couldn’t sit at. So she lied! Our poor server also had to put her face directly in front of our faces in order to hear us when we placed our dinner orders, again so incredibly unsafe during a pandemic. I’m shocked that the restaurant would think it’s a smart idea to have extremely loud live music during COVID that would require servers and the hostess to get within inches of customers in order to hear them
