If you are looking for a place that is cheap and quick, then this place is your place. Me and my friends have eaten there in multiple occasions, and we also had takeouts from there as well. Their pork chops $3) are really well-seasoned, and their Taiwanese sausage rice $8-9) and their shredded pork and pickled mustard green fried rice $8-9) are always good options for carbs. If you feeling adventurous, give the oyster pancake $9-10) a try, the dumpling and the noodle dishes are med. I have to emphasize that this place is really fast, everything will be on your table within 15 mins.
If I want salt pepper chicken or marinated seaweed, this is my go-to-place. Taiwanese kimchi is a bit too spicy, too salty, and not sweet enough, but that is just my way of comparing it to the kimchi in Taiwan. It might be good for somebody else. In the general, I really can get some Taiwanese food here. You can forget about this place if you are looking for atmosphere. Other than that, foods is good. Also, in any season, you can get shaved ice like red bean or green bean. Taro ice is a plus.
This has been my go-to for so long. Quick and affordable whenever I'm in the area. Their $3 fried chicken leg and the beef noodle soup are my favorites.
The food is good and the price is right. Don't expect too much service. A good place to grab a quick meal.
